The Wilkes Central Eagles volleyball team (Wilkesboro, NC), was beaten 3-0 in Thursday's league contest with the host West Wilkes Blackhawks (Millers Creek, NC)

The Blackhawks (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against East Wilkes (Ronda, NC). The Cardinals enter the Mountain Valley 2A/3A/4A contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, East Wilkes was defeated by North Wilkes (Hays, NC), 3-1, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Wilkes for a Mountain Valley 2A/3A/4A test on Tuesday, September 23.
