The Watauga Pioneers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Alexander Central Cougars to 1 in the Pioneers league victory on Monday.
The Pioneers now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hibriten for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 21.
The Cougars (4-5) will now prepare for their game against South Caldwell (Hudson, NC). The Spartans enter the non-league game with a 7-6 record. In their last game, South Caldwell nipped Freedom (Morganton, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
