Spectators at Monday's league match between the Southwest Georgia STEM Charter Aggies (Shellman, GA) and the visiting Quitman County Hornets (Georgetown, GA), witnessed Southwest Georgia STEM Charter's softball squad prevail over Quitman County by a count of 19-4.

The Aggies now sport a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Early County for a 1A D-II Region 1 match on Tuesday, September 20. Southwest Georgia STEM Charter will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 14-1 league loss to Miller County (Colquitt, GA). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Quitman County moves to 0-10 on the season. The Hornets travel to Randolph-Clay (Cuthbert, GA) to face the Red Devils in a 1A D-II Region 1 match on Tuesday, September 20. The Red Devils go into the match with a record of 0-4.
