Georgia High School Softball - Jenkins County bounces McIntosh County Academy

The Jenkins County War Eagles routed the host McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers softball squad by a final score of 17-1 in Tuesday's league battle.

The War Eagles (10-4) will now prepare for their battle against Portal (Portal, GA). The Panthers go into the 1A D-II Region 3 battle with a 3-10 record. In their last battle, Portal was routed by Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA), 13-2, in a league battle.

The Buccaneers now possess a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to Montgomery County for a 1A D-II Region 3 battle on Thursday, September 21. McIntosh County Academy will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Johnson County (Wrightsville, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-9.
