In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Lake Hornets volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Scott Central Rebels.
The Hornets (13-6) will now prepare for their battle against Newton (Newton, MS). The Tigers come into the Class 2 Region 5 battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, Newton lost by Scott Central (Forest, MS), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Rebels clash with the Clarkdale Bulldogs (Meridian, MS) in a Class 3 Region 5 battle, on Thursday, September 21. Scott Central will attempt to advance on its 1-10 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 8-4 record after their 3-2 league win over Scott Central (Forest, MS).
