The Lake Hornets prevailed the visiting Scott Central Rebels volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.
The Hornets now have a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clarkdale for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 12. Lake will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to West Lauderdale (Collinsville, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-3.
The Rebels (0-8) will now prepare for their test against Newton (Newton, MS). The Tigers enter the Class 2 Region 5 test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Newton dropped by Bay Springs (Bay Springs, MS), 3-0, in a non-league test.
