The Serra Cavaliers volleyball team (Gardena, CA), was dropped 3-1 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting San Gabriel Mission Pioneers (San Gabriel, CA)

The Pioneers (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Magnolia Science Academy Carson (Carson, CA). The Vipers enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Magnolia Science Academy Carson was dropped by Animo Pat Brown (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cavaliers meet the Ramona Convent Tigers (Alhambra, CA) in a Santa Fe challenge, on Thursday, September 21. Serra will attempt to move on its 0-8 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 3-1 league win over Pomona Catholic (Pomona, CA).
