Alabama High School Volleyball - Bob Jones can't get by Hoover

September 19, 2024: Hoover, AL 35244

Hoover Buccaneers (Hoover, AL) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Bob Jones Patriots (Madison, AL), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Hoover improves its record to 23-4 on the season. The Buccaneers host Thompson (Alabaster, AL) to face the Warriors in a 7A Area 5 test on Thursday, September 26. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 13-7. Thompson won 3-0 in their recent league test against Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL)

The Patriots now own a 31-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountain Brook for a non-league test on Friday, September 20. Bob Jones will face a Spartans squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Northridge (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Spartans record now stands at 11-9.
