The Riverbend Bears edged the visiting Brooke Point Black Hawks volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Thursday's league game.
Next up, the Bears confront the Forest Park Bruins (Woodbridge, VA) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 23. Riverbend will attempt to advance on its 9-6 season record. The Bruins go into the game with a 8-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology (Alexandria, VA).
The Black Hawks (2-8) will now prepare for their game against North Stafford (Stafford, VA). The Wolverines go into the Commonwealth game with a 10-3 record.
