With the win, Newman Catholic improves its record to 7-6 on the season. The Knights host North Iowa (Buffalo Center, IA) to encounter the Bison in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 26. The Bison go into the battle with a record of 10-3.

The Eagles now own a 0-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southeast Valley for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 28.
