In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Althoff Catholic Crusaders volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Belleville East Lancers.

The Crusaders (8-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Triad (Troy, IL). The Knights come into the non-league outing with a 0-0 record.

With the loss, Belleville East drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Lancers host O'Fallon (O'Fallon, IL) to play the Panthers in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 23. The Panthers come into the outing with a record of 1-0.
