In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Althoff Catholic Crusaders volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Belleville East Lancers.

The Crusaders (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Father McGivney Catholic (Glen Carbon, IL). The Griffins come into the challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Father McGivney Catholic gained a win over Marquette Catholic (Alton, IL), 2-1, in a league test.

The Lancers now sport a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Granite City for a non-league test on Monday, September 29. Belleville East will face a Warriors squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Gibault Catholic (Waterloo, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 0-2.
