In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting De La Salle Cavalier volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Ursuline Academy Lions.
The Cavalier (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Hammond (Hammond, LA). The Tornadoes come into the non-league challenge with a 6-5 record.
The Lions now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Teurlings Catholic for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. Ursuline Academy will face a Rebels squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Rayne (Rayne, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 8-1.
