In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Nimitz Vikings volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Irving Tigers.

The Vikings (6-12) will now prepare for their challenge against MacArthur (Irving, TX). The Cardinals go into the 6A Region I District 7 test with a 4-10 record.

The Tigers now sport a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berkner for a 6A Region I District 7 test on Friday, September 26. Irving will face a Rams squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Richardson (Richardson, TX). The Rams record now stands at 9-17.
