Texas High School Volleyball - Marshall over Gilmer

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Marshall Mavericks (Marshall, TX) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Gilmer Buckeyes (Gilmer, TX), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Mavericks face the Tyler Lions (Tyler, TX) in a 5A Region II District 15 contest, on Friday, September 8. Marshall will attempt to better on its 15-9 season record.

With the loss, Gilmer moves to 15-14 on the year. The Buckeyes travel to Harmony (Big Sandy, TX) to face the Eagles in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 2. The Eagles go into the contest with a record of 10-8. Harmony lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Pleasant Grove (Texarkana, TX)
