In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Bowdon Red Devils softball team scored a tight 5-3 win over the Armuchee Indians.

The Red Devils (5-6) will now prepare for their match against Callaway (Hogansville, GA). The Cavaliers come into the non-league match with a 2-7 record. In their last game, Callaway by Pike County (Zebulon, GA), 6-0, in a league game.

The Indians now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Gordon Central for a 1A D-I Region 7 game on Thursday, September 4. Armuchee will play a Warriors squad coming off a 16-15 non-league loss to Rome (Rome, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-12.
