North Carolina High School Volleyball - Bandys Maiden

September 2, 2025: Catawba, NC 28609

Maiden Blue Devils (Maiden, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Bandys Trojans (Catawba, NC), 3-1 in a league test.

With the win, Maiden improves its record to 8-2 on the season. The Blue Devils host East Lincoln (Denver, NC) to encounter the Mustangs in a Western Foothills 4A/5A challenge on Thursday, September 4. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 3-6. East Lincoln lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Hickory (Hickory, NC)

Next, the Trojans meet the Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 3. Bandys will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC).
