The Chargers (17-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Clear Springs (League City, TX). The Chargers come into the non-league challenge with a 18-6 record. In their last challenge, Clear Springs beat Cinco Ranch (Katy, TX), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Spartans play the Mayde Creek Rams (Houston, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 4. Stratford will attempt to advance on its 6-11 season record. The Rams go into the game with a 10-10 record after their 3-1 league win over Paetow (Katy, TX).
