In Tuesday's league bout, the Gramercy Christian Warriors (Newport, NC) volleyball team overcame the visiting Pamlico Christian Academy Mariners (Grantsboro, NC), by a count of 3-0.

The Warriors (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Bethel Christian Academy (Kinston, NC). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Bethel Christian Academy was knocked off by New Bern Christian Academy (New Bern, NC), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

The Mariners now own a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Christ Covenant for a MACAA 2A battle on Friday, September 5. Pamlico Christian Academy will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Jacksonville Christian Academy (Jacksonville, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 2-4.
