Fans at Friday's league contest between the Gramercy Christian Warriors (Newport, NC) and the host Pamlico Christian Academy Mariners (Grantsboro, NC), observed Gramercy Christian's volleyball team hold off Pamlico Christian Academy by a count of 3-2.

The Warriors (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Jacksonville Christian Academy (Jacksonville, NC). The Conquerors go into the MACAA 2A battle with a 14-4 record. In their last battle, Jacksonville Christian Academy was edged by New Bern Christian Academy (New Bern, NC), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Mariners now own a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jacksonville Christian Academy for a MACAA 2A battle on Thursday, October 2.
