The Mustangs now possess a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Carroll for a 5A Region IV District 29 outing on Friday, September 5. King will play a Tigers team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Gregory-Portland (Portland, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 11-10.

With the loss, Ray drops to 7-14 on the campaign. The Texans travel to Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial (Corpus Christi, TX) to play the Eagles in a 5A Region IV District 29 game on Friday, September 5. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 14-11. Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial lost 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Vista Ridge (Cedar Park, TX)
