The St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) soccer bounced the visiting Grants Pirates (Grants, NM), 7-1 in Tuesday's league bout.
With the win, St. Pius X moves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Sartans travel to Belen (Belen, NM) to battle the Eagles in a 4A District 5 bout on Thursday, September 22. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Belen lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Manzano (Albuquerque, NM)
In their next game, the Pirates battle the Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM) in a 4A District 5 bout, on Friday, September 23. Grants will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 4-0 league loss to Valencia (Los Lunas, NM).
