The Brantley County Herons softball team (Nahunta, GA), was routed 4-1 in Tuesday's league test with the visiting Toombs County Bulldogs (Lyons, GA)

Coming up next, the Bulldogs clash with the Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA) in a 2A Region 3 test, on Thursday, September 22. Toombs County will attempt to improve on its 9-10 season record. The Bears come into the test with a 9-8 record after their 9-1 league win over Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA).

The Herons (11-10) will now prepare for their test against Vidalia (Vidalia, GA). The Indians come into the 2A Region 3 test with a 11-8 record. In their last test, Vidalia was routed by Jeff Davis (Hazlehurst, GA), 10-0, in a non-league test.
