Texas High School Volleyball - Shadow Creek can't hold off Alvin

In Tuesday's league battle, the host Alvin Yellowjackets volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Shadow Creek Sharks.

The Yellowjackets (19-11) will now prepare for their battle against Alief Elsik (Houston, TX). The Rams come into the 6A Region III District 23 battle with a 13-14 record. In their last battle, Alief Elsik nudged Alief Hastings (Houston, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Sharks clash with the Dawson Eagles (Pearland, TX) in a 6A Region III District 23 battle, on Friday, September 23. Shadow Creek will attempt to advance on its 17-15 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 21-12 record after their 3-2 league loss to Pearland (Pearland, TX).
