The Amelia County Raiders volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Cumberland Dukes to 1 in the Raiders league victory on Tuesday.

The Raiders now have a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Randolph-Henry for a James River game on Wednesday, September 21. Amelia County will meet a Statesmen team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over William Campbell (Naruna, VA). The Statesmen record now stands at 2-4.

The Dukes (0-8) will now prepare for their game against Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA). The Statesmen enter the James River game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Randolph-Henry dropped by Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
