Illinois High School Volleyball - Coal City nudged by Reed-Custer

The Coal City Coalers volleyball team (Coal City, IL), was nudged 2-1 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL)

The Comets (7-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Streator (Streator, IL). The Bulldogs enter the Illinois Central Eight challenge with a 8-12 record. In their last challenge, Streator was nudged by Herscher (Herscher, IL), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Coalers meet the Lisle Lions (Lisle, IL) in a Illinois Central Eight challenge, on Thursday, September 22. Coal City will attempt to move on its 11-6 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 1-13 record after their 2-0 league loss to Wilmington (Wilmington, IL).
