The Gladewater Bears (Gladewater, TX) volleyball tipped the visiting Mineola Yellowjackets (Mineola, TX), 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

With the win, Gladewater upgrades its record to 13-13 on the year. The Bears host Sabine (Gladewater, TX) to face the Cardinals in a 3A Region II District 15 outing on Friday, September 23. The Cardinals go into the outing with a record of 5-10. Sabine lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Bullard (Bullard, TX)

The Yellowjackets now own a 20-8 record. They play next when they host Mount Vernon for a 3A Region II District 13 outing on Friday, September 23. Mineola will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over North Hopkins (Sulphur Springs, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 18-1.
