Centaurus Warriors (Lafayette, CO) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Greeley Central Wildcats (Greeley, CO), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Warriors confront the Mead Mavericks (Longmont, CO) in a 5A/4A Northern Colorado challenge, on Tuesday, October 3. Centaurus will attempt to better on its 9-0 season record.

The Wildcats now have a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dakota Ridge for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 22. Greeley Central will confront a Eagles team coming off a 6-0 league loss to Golden (Golden, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 4-3.
