The Baconton Charter Blazers the host Pataula Charter Academy Panthers softball squad by a final score of 8-6 in Wednesday's league battle.

The Blazers (13-7) will now prepare for their battle against Randolph-Clay (Cuthbert, GA). The Red Devils go into the 1A D-II Region 1 battle with a 2-7 record. In their last battle, Randolph-Clay by Early County (Blakely, GA), 15-7, in a league battle.

The Panthers now possess a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Calhoun County for a 1A D-II Region 1 outing on Thursday, September 21. Pataula Charter Academy will battle a Cougars team coming off a 17-5 league loss to Miller County (Colquitt, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-7.
