North Carolina High School Volleyball - West Stokes can't hold off North Surry

September 20, 2023: King, NC 27021

In Wednesday's non-league battle, the visiting North Surry Greyhounds volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the West Stokes Wildcats.

The Greyhounds (10-4) will now prepare for their match against Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC). The Eagles come into the Foothills 2A match with a 4-11 record. In their last match, Wilkes Central was edged by Forbush (East Bend, NC), 3-1, in a league match.

With the loss, West Stokes drops to 11-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to North Stokes (Danbury, NC) to battle the Vikings in a non-league match on Monday, September 25. The Vikings come into the match with a record of 6-7. North Stokes won 3-0 in their recent league match against Elkin (Elkin, NC)
