North Carolina High School Volleyball - West Stokes tips North Surry

September 6, 2023: Mount Airy, NC 27030

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC) volleyball squad nudged the host North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Wildcats face the T.W. Andrews Red Raiders (High Point, NC) in a Mid-State 2A contest, on Thursday, September 7. West Stokes will attempt to better on its 7-0 season record. The Red Raiders go into the contest with a 2-6 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Parkland (Winston-Salem, NC).

With the loss, North Surry moves to 5-4 on the year. The Greyhounds host West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC) to face the Blackhawks in a Foothills 2A contest on Thursday, September 7. The Blackhawks go into the contest with a record of 3-5. West Wilkes lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against North Wilkes (Hays, NC)
