The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Edmond Memorial Bulldogs (Edmond, OK) and the host Choctaw Yellowjackets (Choctaw, OK), observed Edmond Memorial's softball team get by Choctaw by a final score of 1-0.
The Bulldogs (15-9) will now prepare for their bout against Bethany (Bethany, OK). The Bronchos go into the non-league bout with a 14-11 record. In their last bout, Bethany tipped Woodward (Woodward, OK), 7-2, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Yellowjackets battle the Stillwater Pioneers (Stillwater, OK) in a 6A District 1 bout, on Friday, September 20. Choctaw will attempt to better on its 21-4 season record. The Pioneers go into the bout with a 11-12 record after their 9-8 league win over Norman North (Norman, OK).
