California High School Flag Football - Santa Clara beat Sequoia

The Santa Clara Bruins flag football squad scored 27 points and limited the host Sequoia Ravens to 14 in the Bruins non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bruins now sport a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Los Altos for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. Santa Clara will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-2.

With the defeat, Sequoia falls to 4-5 on the year. The Ravens travel to Gunn (Palo Alto, CA) to face the Titans in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 22. The Titans enter the challenge with a record of 2-3. Gunn lost 18-6 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Francis (Watsonville, CA)
