The Newcastle Racers (Newcastle, OK) softball nipped the host El Reno Indians (El Reno, OK), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Racers now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harrah for a outing on Tuesday, September 23. Newcastle will encounter a Panthers team coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Cushing (Cushing, OK). The Panthers record now stands at 11-15.
