The Newcastle Racers triumphed over the host El Reno Indians softball squad by a count of 13-5 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Racers meet the Norman North Timberwolves (Norman, OK) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 6. Newcastle will attempt to move on its 16-4 season record.

With the loss, El Reno moves to 9-15 on the season. The Indians travel to Clinton (Clinton, OK) to confront the Red Tornadoes in a non-league battle on Monday, September 29. The Red Tornadoes come into the battle with a record of 5-8. Clinton lost 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Cheyenne/Reydon (Cheyenne, OK)
