Nebraska High School Softball - O'Neill bounces Pierce

The O'Neill Eagles softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Pierce Bluejays to 0 in the Eagles non-league win on Saturday.

The Eagles now possess a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Guardian Angels Central Catholic for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 23. O'Neill will confront a Bluejays team coming off a 7-4 non-league win over NEN (Wisner, NE). The Bluejays record now stands at 13-7.

With the loss, Pierce moves to 8-13 on the season. The Bluejays host Twin River (Genoa, NE) to meet the Titans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 23. The Titans enter the challenge with a record of 12-9. Twin River lost 8-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Grand Island Central Catholic (Grand Island, NE)
