O'Neill Eagles (O'Neill, NE) fans went home satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their softball team gain a win over the host Pierce Bluejays (Pierce, NE), 8-0 in a non-league battle.

The Eagles now possess a 15-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wayne for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 27. O'Neill will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over NEN (Wisner, NE). The Blue Devils record now stands at 16-8.

The Bluejays (9-18) will now prepare for their challenge against Ponca (Ponca, NE). The Indians enter the non-league challenge with a 9-13 record. In their last challenge, Ponca overcame Pierce (Pierce, NE), 4-1, in a non-league challenge.
