In Saturday's non-league match, the Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA) volleyball squad prevailed the host Scranton Knights (Scranton, PA), by a count of 2-0.

Next up, the Comets confront the Hazleton Area Cougars (Hazleton, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, September 20. Abington Heights will attempt to better on its 15-0 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Marian Catholic (Tamaqua, PA).

With the loss, Scranton drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA) to clash with the Comets in a Lackawanna bout on Monday, September 22.
