The Akron Rams volleyball squad (Akron, CO), was edged 3-2 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Stratton Eagles (Stratton, CO)

With the win, Stratton improves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Eagles host Idalia (Idalia, CO) to encounter the Wolves in a non-league battle on Friday, September 26. The Wolves go into the battle with a record of 2-6. Idalia lost 3-1 in their recent league contest against Hi-Plains (Seibert, CO)

Next, the Rams meet the Wiggins Tigers (Wiggins, CO) in a 2A/1A Lower Platte contest, on Tuesday, September 23. Akron will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 6-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Simla (Simla, CO).
