Stratton Eagles (Stratton, CO) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Akron Rams (Akron, CO), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Stratton improves its record to 6-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Holyoke (Holyoke, CO) to encounter the Dragons in a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. The Dragons go into the test with a record of 9-2. Holyoke won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Perkins County (Grant, NE)

The Rams now own a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host McClave for a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. Akron will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Kit Carson (Kit Carson, CO). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-1.
