Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Parker/Marion Pheasants (Parker, SD) and the host Alcester-Hudson Cubs (Alcester, SD), observed Parker/Marion's volleyball team top Alcester-Hudson by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Parker/Marion improves its record to 9-7 on the season. The Pheasants travel to Bon Homme (Tyndall, SD) to encounter the Cavaliers in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. The Cavaliers go into the battle with a record of 5-3. Bon Homme won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Irene/Wakonda (Irene, SD)

The Cubs now own a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Centerville for a B Region 4 battle on Thursday, September 25.
