Georgia High School Volleyball - Athens Academy tips Morgan County

September 20, 2025: Athens, GA 30606

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Athens Academy Spartans volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Morgan County Bulldogs.

The Spartans (18-9) will now prepare for their challenge against South Paulding (Douglasville, GA). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 17-15 record. In their last challenge, South Paulding Tucker (Tucker, GA), 0-0, in a non-league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 19-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Allatoona for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. Morgan County will meet a Buccaneers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Coahulla Creek (Dalton, GA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 26-7.
