In Wednesday's league battle, the host Cleveland Storm soccer squad scored a close 6-0 triumph over the Rio Rancho Rams.
The Storm (9-0) will now prepare for their battle against Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Jaguars come into the 5A District 1 battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Atrisco Heritage Academy was overwhelmed by Cibola (Albuquerque, NM), 7-1, in a league battle.
The Rams (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM). The Hawks come into the 5A District 1 battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Volcano Vista nudged Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM), 8-1, in a non-league battle.
