Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Bleckley County Royals (Cochran, GA) and the host Swainsboro Tigers (Swainsboro, GA), witnessed Bleckley County's softball squad prevail over Swainsboro by a count of 18-2.

The Royals now sport a 11-7 record. They play next when they host Academy for Classical Education for a non-league match on Monday, September 25. Bleckley County will face a Gryphons squad coming off a 8-4 non-league win over Crawford County (Roberta, GA). The Gryphons record now stands at 15-3.

With the loss, Swainsboro moves to 6-11 on the season. The Tigers host East Laurens (East Dublin, GA) to face the Falcons in a 1A D-I Region 2 match on Tuesday, September 26. The Falcons go into the match with a record of 15-5. East Laurens won 9-1 in their recent league match against Jefferson County (Louisville, GA)
