The Aquinas Fightin' Irish volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Social Circle Redskins to 0 in the Fightin' Irish league victory on Thursday.
The Fightin' Irish now have a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Washington-Wilkes for a 1A Area 5 game on Tuesday, September 26. Aquinas will confront a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Lake Oconee Academy (Greensboro, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-9.
The Redskins (8-13) will now prepare for their game against Lake Oconee Academy (Greensboro, GA). The Titans enter the 1A Area 5 game with a 12-5 record. In their last game, Lake Oconee Academy dropped by Oglethorpe County (Lexington, GA), 3-0, in a league game.
