The Social Circle Redskins held off the visiting Aquinas Fightin' Irish volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league test.
The Redskins now have a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Oconee Academy for a 1A Area 5 test on Thursday, September 7. Social Circle will confront a Titans team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Oglethorpe County (Lexington, GA). The Titans record now stands at 7-4.
The Fightin' Irish (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Washington-Wilkes (Washington, GA). The Tigers enter the 1A Area 5 test with a 0-5 record. In their last test, Washington-Wilkes was nudged by Harlem (Harlem, GA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
