The Mayfield Cardinals volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Ballard Memorial Bombers to 1 in the Cardinals league victory on Thursday.

The Cardinals now have a 21-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Murray for a non-league game on Monday, September 25. Mayfield will meet a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Graves County (Mayfield, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 7-15.

The Bombers (13-8) will now prepare for their game against Hickman County (Clinton, KY). The Falcons enter the non-league game with a 11-12 record. In their last game, Hickman County dropped by Livingston Central (Smithland, KY), 2-0, in a non-league game.
