The South Pointe Stallions volleyball team (Rock Hill, SC), was dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC)

The Copperheads (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against York (York, SC). The Cougars enter the AAAA Region 3 challenge with a 9-3 record. In their last challenge, York defeated Chester (Chester, SC), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Stallions meet the Lancaster Bruins (Lancaster, SC) in a AAAA Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, September 26. South Pointe will attempt to move on its 3-11 season record. The Bruins enter the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Northwestern (Rock Hill, SC).
