With the win, Catawba Ridge upgrades its record to 3-4 on the year. The Copperheads travel to York (York, SC) to play the Cougars in a AAAA Region 3 outing on Thursday, September 7. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 5-1. York won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Clover (Clover, SC)

The Stallions now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Lancaster for a AAAA Region 3 outing on Thursday, September 7. South Pointe will play a Bruins squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Northwestern (Rock Hill, SC). The Bruins record now stands at 0-1.
