The Charlottesville Black Knights volleyball team (Charlottesville, VA), was dropped 3-1 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Louisa County Lions (Mineral, VA)

The Lions (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Caroline (Milford, VA). The Cavaliers enter the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Caroline defeated Eastern View (Culpeper, VA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Black Knights meet the Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA) in a Jefferson challenge, on Tuesday, September 26. Charlottesville will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Goochland (Goochland, VA).
